Diane and Doug, Please know how much your presence in our family has meant to Fran, Dave, and me. Chris' love for Fran and his concern, care, and support helped me deal with her loss and I know she and Cathy will be keeping him company in the great beyond. Blessings, comfort, and love to you as you deal with his sudden departure from this world. He made us proud to know him.

Diane and Family: If I picked one word to describe Chris it would be in the Yinglish (combo of Yiddush and English) language, "Mensch!" It is very hard to convey in words the special meaning of being defined in this way, but it reflects a very special person of respect, dignity and noble character. I worked with Chris at Georgia Legal Services and heard much about his work with the Savannah Justice Law Center. In fact, I was recently at a meeting in which we were discussing how to help an individual and someone said to call Chris Colson! When I think of him, I will remember his smile, kindness and patience. My thoughts are with you for peace and comfort.
- Pam Lipsitz, Savannah, GA
Chris worked tirelessly for the homeless and was an active member of our Board of Directors for CSAH, chairing the Providers Committee and actively serving on the Executive Committee. I will miss his commitment and wisdom. My deepest sympathy for Diane and her family.

Chris was among the nicest and most helpful lawyers to clients I referred him over the years and to me on many occasions when questions came up in my practice relative to areas in which he was a frequent practitioner. May God's grace be always with you, Chris!!!
